ONEHOPE vineyard is rooted in purpose in the heart of Rutherford. Our unique Cabernet Sauvignon blend combines the best of our estate vineyard situated on the iconic west side of Highway 29. Intensity of dark cherry meets balanced acidity and endless depth. Your wine is aging for 20 months in 80 percent new tight grain French barrels.
Mari Wells Coyle is the VP Winemaking for ONEHOPE, a brand with a mission to bring people together to celebrate and serve the world. Each of ONEHOPE’s thoughtfully-crafted products supports a charitable cause.
Since joining ONEHOPE, Mari has played an integral part in developing wine education for the brand and its direct selling platform which empowers entrepreneurs to make an impact while making an income. In her role at ONEHOPE, Mari also acts as winemaker and works with partners to create wines that customers enjoy.
Mari honed her winemaking skills in some of the world’s finest wine regions, apprenticing under premier pinot noir producers such as Gloria Ferrer and Merry Edwards. Mari later came to Napa as winemaker at the iconic Sterling Vineyards. Mari’s first vintage wines received regional “best of show” and gold medal awards. As the winemaker for David Girard Vineyards, Mari earned some of the region’s highest accolades for her Rhone-style wines. Her Rhone varietals have been recognized by the likes of wine critic Robert Parker, the San Francisco Chronicle, Sunset Magazine, and “The Connoisseur’s Guide to California Wine.”
Mari proudly serves as a judge for a variety of wine competitions and is a speaker for Women for Winesense. Mari is a University of California Davis, Viticulture and Enology grad. She and her husband are proud parents of their two sons.
