This lot is a blend of wine aged in both concrete egg and cigar barrel
Dana Estates Hershey Vineyard is known primarily for making a distinctive wine that is an integral part of the winery’s single vineyard cabernet program. However, a small part of the vineyard has been set aside to grow sauvignon blanc. The cooler climate and volcanic soils produce a sauvignon blanc that is rich and layered, while maintaining the wonderful acidity and the noticeable minerality that one finds in the Howell Mountain appellation. While this five case lot reflects the profile of the 2015 Dana Estates Hershey Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, this concrete egg and cigar barrel blend is set aside solely for Premiere Napa Valley.
