Winemaker, Hoopes Vineyard
Became principal winemaker of Hoopes Vineyard after stints at Napa Valley's Grace Family Vineyard and Paradigm Winery from '94-'99 under the tutelage of Heidi Barrett. Fisher also made the wines for Cosentino from 2001 to ’08 when he was director of winemaking; and for Slaughterhouse Cellars. From 2006 to ’10 he made wine for David Frost Wines in South Africa.

Devotion to the terroir. Wine should be made right with minimal intervention, devoid of manipulation. That is because wines should express the terroir and manipulation only serves to conceal that sense of place.
