Handcrafted, estate-grown Cabernet
Sauvignon from the St. Helena appellation—a
wine cannot be better defined than one that
originates from the Spottswoode Estate.
Farmed organically since 1985 under the
observant stewardship of owner Mary Novak,
the Spottswoode Vineyard, situated at the
apex of the Sulphur Creek fan, stretches
over alluvial soils of gravelly clay loam to the
Mayacamas range on the west. Always striving
to make wines of unsurpassed distinction, only
the most concentrated lots from our 2009 vintage
have been selected to create a singular wine
that expresses the balance, grace and integrity
for which Spottswoode is so well known.
