Description
Lang & Reed Cabernet Franc explores the flavor expressions of many vineyards, each with their unique set of soils and aspect. EXPRESSION 214 turns the exploration toward the distinguishing nuance of a special clone: INRA Clone 214. This clonal selection, uncommon to California, finds its origins deeply rooted in the Loire Valley of France. These Cabernet Franc grapes from the 2007 harvest, truly beautiful in the vineyard, begged to be bottled on their own. EXPRESSION 214 is a singular example of Cabernet Franc on INRA Clone 214, believed to be the first in California.
