Description
Petit Verdot is the rarest, most expensive
fruit grown in Napa Valley. Fortunately, there
are locations within the region that offer the
best conditions in the world to bring this lush
variety to its peak ripeness.
The exposure and elevation of Clark-Claudon
Vineyards provides the ideal Napa Valley
terroir for Petit Verdot. Our one acre of Petit
Verdot produces only 1.5 tons of fruit. Most
will be blended with our Estate Cabernet by
winemaker Frederic Delivert and consulting
winemaker Jean Hoefliger, who have crafted
a world-class, five-case Petit Verdot lot.
Like our daughter Briana, this beautiful wine
is a rare combination of depth, complexity,
strength, joy, and finesse.

Frederic Delivert
Winemaker, Clark-Claudon Vineyards
Frederic Delivert came to Clark-Claudon in 2009 with an impressive resumé. He was previously assistant winemaker at two prestigious Napa Valley wineries, PlumpJack and Cade. He also has experience from Far Niente Winery and Duckhorn Vineyards in the Napa Valley, Hafner in Sonoma and Domaine Croix Maro and Domaine de la Valmale in France. In addition, Frederic has a Masters Degree with a focus on enology, viticulture and international wine sales
