Description
Your Premiere Napa Valley wine is a 100% Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes for your wine were selected from a single block on our estate – Block 95, located 1,400 feet above sea level. The soil in this block is classified as Los Gatos loam, which is characterized by baseball-sized fractured shale that has a very low capacity for holding water. Fruit grown in this soil type produces a well-structured wine with extremely intensive flavor.

Craig Becker is a seasoned winemaker and has worked with a wide range of varieties planted at some of California's top hillside vineyards.

Education: Driven by his strong interest in plant and soil science Craig attended the University of California at Davis studying plant physiology, hydrologic science, enology, and viticulture.

Winemaking Philosophy:
It is Craig's artisan approach to winemaking and his extensive knowledge in viticulture that enables him to create superb wines from a wide range of varieties and sites.
