Description
Ancient Egyptians believed that upon death, they would be asked two questions: "Did you bring joy?" and "Did you find joy?" Those who answered “yes” could continue into the hereafter.
Joie du Vin Is lovingly crafted in honor of winery founder John 'JG' Goelet, a man who both brings and finds joy. Sourced from a single block from our original Stags Leap District vineyards, this uncharacteristically voluptuous Cabernet Sauvignon boasts flavors of ripe blackberry, boysenberry and cassis, framed by an elegant bouquet of black pepper and toast. Silky tannins round out the mouth-feel, culminating in a lingering finish. Perfectly balanced and beautifully conceived, it is the ultimate expression of the Stags Leap District and a true representation of Clos Du Val's stylistic evolution.
