Description
Oakville is the most famous area in the New World for Cabernet Sauvignon, known for impeccably balanced wines with luscious, rich flavors. Havens Oakville Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has rich aromas of black currant, cherry, milk chocolate, subtle mint, cedar and forest floor, and a soft attack with very intense flavors of cherry and tobacco. The wine finishes with velvety tannins, with the fruit characters lingering. This Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent with roast lamb, red meats, red pasta sauces and exotic cheeses. It will age for a minimum of 10 years, if properly stored.

Aaron Pott’s curiosity in wine began at the young age when he ordered a glass of milk in a venerable Parisian bistro. When the waiter responded—in halting perfect English—that “milk is for babies” and promptly produced a glass of watered down red, Pott realized that wine was a beverage of choice for adults and immersed himself in the world of wine trivia.
