Description
North of Calistoga in the Napa Valley, eons of erosion caused an alluvial fan to spread down from the Palisades range along Garnet Creek. The most rocky and infertile ground has lost almost all of the top soil, as ancient rivers washed it further into the valley. In this cobblestone alluvium our vines struggle to send their roots deep into the earth, giving them strength to produce wines of the greatest power, depth and intensity.
