Description
Husic Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of grapes from our three steep, rocky and magical vineyards which we planted in 1997, on land perched above the Stags Leap District. We believe the deeply intense, rich yet soft, and approachable flavors of our wines are the result of several factors. First, our location overlooking Stags Leap, and the extremely rocky terroir of our vineyards interact favorably to produce fruit of both incredible intensity, as well as velvet-like qualities. Second, we are the first humans to occupy this land, so our three vineyards were planted on ground never cultivated before. Finally, we were among the last hillside vineyards permitted before the hillside ordinance was passed, and so could never be created again. Location, rocky conditions, steep hillsides and nutritious growing conditions have all come together to make our wines the smashing success they have become. Tasting is believing.
