Description
Our Villa Andriana Vineyard is the source for our Napa Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Its loamy, volcanic soils produce a wine with ripe fruit flavors, a wonderful mid-palate and excellent texture.
For Premiere Napa Valley, we’ve chosen to blend this Cabernet with two of our favorite Calistoga hillside vineyard sources. Barrel aged in 75% new French oak, the combination of softness on the palate associated with wine from our estate and the structure and rich tannins from these Calistoga hillside vineyards resulted in a wine of superb intensity, texture and balance that is enjoyable now or worth cellaring for 10 to 15 years.

My on-the-job training started 16 years ago at Summers Winery. I have worked in the vineyard and cellar, under the direction of a UC Davis grad, and have completed my Certificate in Viticulture and Enology with Napa Valley College. My title for the last four years with Summers has been winemaker and vineyard manager.
