Description
The heart of the Groth Oakville ranch is made up of the 27-acre Reserve Vineyard. The rock and loam soils deposited by Conn Creek have created a unique corridor through the west side of this ranch. This wine is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon of three clones: 337, 15 and 7. The Reserve Vineyard is also the exclusive source of the Groth's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Because it is missing the blending element of Merlot this cuvee is the ‘sister wine' to Groth's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
