the family. Baldacci Family Vineyards First
Born is a barrel selection from the best of the
best! Rolando Herrera and Thomas Baldacci
choose the best barrel from our estate,
designated Brenda’s Vineyard (which has
already been identified as “the best” that our
17-acre vineyard has to offer). The wine is full
of deep, ripe, berry flavors, and dark chocolate
and violet aromas all wrapped together in a
lush coating of new French oak. These five
cases are one-of-a kind and cannot be
duplicated at any other time. Fill the cellar

characteristics of the Stags Leap District and
Napa Valley winemaking!

Rolando Herrera has been making wine in the Napa Valley for 30 years. First as a cellar worker at Stags Leap Wine Cellars, then as their cellar master, then (with a few stops in between) director of wine for Paul Hobbs, and finally as the owner of his own winery and the winemaker at Baldacci Family Vineyards.
