Description
Signorello Estate is pleased to offer our Big Rock Cuvee, the Cabernet Sauvignon component in our flagship wine, PADRONE. PADRONE, named in memory of my father, comes from hand-selected fruit from our extremely rocky hillside estate vineyard with yields of a mere one-and-a-half tons per acre. This Cabernet has resulted in flavors of great concentration and complexity and will drink well in the near-term due to its rich, ripe fruit. You may also wish to lay it down over the next 20 years. I dedicate this wine to my father Raymond Signorello, Sr., whose life was as full of character as our wines.

Winemaker, Signorello Estate
Pierre is a sixth-generation wine grower. Growing up in Corsica, France, Pierre spent his early years among the vines learning the trade from family. After graduating from the Agriculture College of Carcassone and Macon with a degree in Viticulture and Enology, Pierre returned to his family's vineyards as vineyard manager and assistant winemaker.
Pierre soon decided to travel to California to experience a new region and style of winemaking. Over the next several years he practiced vineyard management and development, grafting and winemaking at several properties in Napa Valley.
