Description
The wine speaks for itself, but the story behind the wine is more subtle. The Gullwing Amalgam is a nod from winemaker Doug Boeschen to his father, Dann, who used to race vintage cars. It is a recognition of the value in remembering to sprinkle in a little zest for life while treasuring the people and time that we have.

My previous winemaking experience came from multiple great wineries, including Spottswoode, Sequoia Grove/Karl Lawrence and Chateau Mercier, in Bordeaux.

Winemaking Philosophy:
My first priority is to make balanced, expressive wines that reflect the character of our hillside estate vineyards. My second priority is to take the winemaking seriously while not taking myself too seriously!
