Description
For the 3rd year in a row, we have combined grapes from three of the top appellations in Napa Valley, solely for the Premiere event. This unique collaboration of Cabs from Howell Mtn, Oakville, and Spring Mtn provides our bidder with a taste of terroir from all three. Our lot is not commercially sold! Our winemakers, Craig Becker and Tim Milos are able to provide their combined talents, and excellent reputation to create this lot.

Craig Becker
Winemaker, Peacock Family Vineyard
Winemaker/general manager Craig Becker began his career at Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville. In 1997 he began making wine at Spring Mountain Winery and left there in 2003 to become a full-time consulting winemaker. Today he is both winemaker and general manager at Peacock: ???My goal as a winemaker is to produce exceptional varietal wines which reflect the uniqueness of the vineyard and the microclimate,??? he explains. His other projects include Somerston, Priest Ranch, Highflyer, Kelleher in Oakville, and Balcom Family Cellars.

Get it right in the vineyard, use natural winemaking techniques, native fermentations, just enough oak, and bottle unfiltered.
Timothy Milos
Winemaker, Howell at the Moon
Tim joined our team in May of 2006, and also consults for wineries in Napa, Sonoma and beyond. He studied molecular plant plant pathology at Cornell University, and enology and viticulture at UC Davis. His wines have repeatedly been included in top 100 wines of the world lists, and received accolades from major review publications.
