Description
Our 2012 Premiere lot is crafted from the five-acre M5 block at Stagecoach Vineyard, which we feel is the best of the site’s more than 300 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon. Located in the heart of Stagecoach, sheltered from excessive wind and heat, this block enjoys a gentle south-facing slope and thin, uniformly rocky soil. It is planted to a clone rumored to have come from a First Growth Bordeaux—but what we can confirm is that it produces wine that sings, year in and year out, in its youth and as it ages.
