Blending our estate vineyards together to create our 7th winemaking collaboration between Ghost Block and Markham Vineyards is definitely more than good luck! When George C. Yount arrived in the 1830's, the first grapevines were planted in Napa Valley on his original land grant, where the Ghost Block property now sits. Taste the history that Andrew Hoxsey, proprietor of Ghost Block and Bryan Del Bondio, president of Markham Vineyards bring together in this Meritage blend from their respective Yountville estate vineyards. Since both families arrived in Napa Valley over 110 years ago, they have continued to grow together as friends & colleagues, each now celebrating their individual 40 harvests with glasses of wine, food and stories galore. The importance of family is key and you will see both mentoring their children as the next generation prepares to carry on tradition. Share a taste of history that their winemaking teams created in this powerful blend to highlight the best of the vintage from the Yountville AVA.
