The fruit for your Premiere Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from rugged hillside microclimates in rich, volcanic bedrock alluvial fans. Small, comcentrated berries from this site were hand-selected and sorted to produce dark, rich, complex flavors with balanced tannins. The juice was cold soaked, then fermented and aged for 24 months in 100% new French oak barrels. The combination of Cabernet Sauvignon with a kiss of Cabernet Franc and Petite Sirah achieves profound complexity with age.

Winemaker, Davis Estates
Born and raised in Bordeaux, France, Philippe attended the University of Bordeaux graudating with a degree in geology, then a Master's degree in enology and agronomy. Philippe's first winery was Chateau Haut Brion, followed by work and study in Australia, Italy, back in France (Petrus) and finally in Napa Valley (Dominus). Philippe began consulting in 1995.
