Auction 15 | Lot No. 64
10 cases produced
Best known as a sparkling house, Domaine
Chandon also crafts three fine still wines—
Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay—
that often garner high accolades. In addition
to the largest land holding in Carneros, the
winery also owns vineyards in Mount Veeder
and Yountville. A small portion of the warmer
two AVAs is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon
because the grape is well suited to those
regions. With this lot, we demonstrate our
ability to craft food-friendly still wines with
the first-ever Cabernet Sauvignon under the
Domaine Chandon label.
