Description
From one of Napa's historic vineyards, this handcrafted wine will surely be recognized as one of the most memorable wines of the 2011 vintage. Starting with the Clone 7 Cabernet Sauvignon that is usually designated for our Reserve program, we created a blend for Premiere Napa Valley that showcases not only the exquisite fruit, but also the terroir of our dry-farmed estate vineyards.
Each block of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc was whole-cluster pressed and fermented separately before we selected our favorites to create a blend with perfect balance and structure. This wine will age for two years in new French oak and another year in the bottle before being released.
