a burning desire, passionate, flaming.
This is the word that founder Carlo Di Ruocco
felt best described his relationship to the land
and the wine that is his “Ardente.”
“Where my wine grows is a beautiful area in
the quiet hills of Atlas Peak. The warm arid
climate and rocky mountainous terrain
combine with rich volcanic soil and a
moderate microclimate to provide near
perfect conditions for growing high-quality
Cabernet grapes. The results are great; the
zest of this special wine is reminiscent of a
beautiful Bordeaux Haut-Médoc.”
