Description
The roots of dry-farmed vines delve deeper into the alluvial soils of the western benchland of Rutherford, producing dynamic wines. Our Zinfandel, planted in 1972, is thriving thanks to healthy soil, regenerative, ecosystem-focused farming and a hands-on philosophy to winemaking. This naturally fermented, single barrel, 2018 Zinfandel is multi-dimensional, balanced and full of verve!

I married a winemaker. Then I married another winemaker. They both make great wine and I've learned a great deal through a 30-year-long process of love and osmosis (and personal gumption, I guess!)
I was encouraged to start making wine in 2001 - "Don't you think it's about time that you start making the wine (from your front yard)?", he said.
