Description
The Rutherford nested appellation has become rarefied territory for Zinfandel. This wine is generous, even lavish, in its true-to-terroir Rutherford Dust origins - yet it's floral, lovely and elegant. The aromatics are out of this world and set the stage for what follows: rich, dark raspberry vibrating across the palate, seamlessly incorporating the sweet spices of wild-yeast ferments. Mouthwatering with pomegranate piquancy, balance in body and tannin with just enough oak to buoy the fruit.

I married a winemaker. Then I married another winemaker. They both make great wine and I've learned a great deal through a 30-year-long process of love and osmosis (and personal gumption, I guess!)
I was encouraged to start making wine in 2001 - "Don't you think it's about time that you start making the wine (from your front yard)?", he said.
