Description
Antica Napa Valley is proud to present this special lot that demonstrates the promise of the Antinori Family's wine estate located on a high plain in the mountains that form the eastern rim of Napa Valley. Its hilly terrain, rocky soils, high elevations and beautiful landscape create, above all, an estate ideal for winegrowing.
The Townsend Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon represents a specific vineyard on the estate, carefully selected, that produces grapes providing power, finesse and structured tannins in the wine. It also symbolizes the family's particular fascination with Cabernet Sauvignon as expressed throughout the world's greatest winegrowing regions, including its own Tuscan estate, Tignanello, where Solaia and Tignanello are produced. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has been making wine and is pleased to continue this tradition in Napa Valley.
