Winemaker Celia Masyczek has chosen this barrel as the prime example of the 2001 vintage from our own Cornerstone Vineyard on Howell Mountain. From the time it went into barrel, we knew this was extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignon, exhibiting the intense, muscular, concentrated fruit character typical of Howell Mountain.
