Description
Quarry Vineyard, in Rutherford, is the newest addition to the Nickel & Nickel single-vineyard Cabernets, and 2008 is the first vintage we have produced. This particular blend was chosen from what we consider to be our best blocks in the vineyard. Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine has a juicy entry of berry flavors, tar and herb layered with spice and the appellation's famous Rutherford Dust. French oak complements the ripeness of the fruit and lends itself to a long, supple finish.
