Description
Imagine one bottle of wine capturing the entire Napa Valley in a bottle? That's precisely what FOURTEEN has accomplished. One ton of grapes from each of Napa Valley's 14 sub-appellations blended together to create a Meritage (Calistoga AVA was not yet approved when the 2008 blend was created). To make this Premiere blend unique we have chosen only the best of the best from our lots to create a truly decadent wine.
Approval of the Calistoga AVA in 2009 is very exciting and will make our wine even more intriguing and complex having wine from each of Napa's 15 sub-appellations. We purchased fruit from Calistoga AVA in 2009 and will change the name of our wine to FIFTEEN with the release of our 2009 vintage!
