Description
This singular wine is a rich and elegant blend from Round Pond's sustainably grown estate vineyards in the heart of Rutherford's Cabernet country. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, this small lot displays complex aromas of wild berry, cinnamon, cloves and dark cherry. Our Cabernet Sauvignon shows typical Rutherford structure with plenty of boysenberry syrup, blueberry and plum flavors. Balanced, with lively acidity and silky tannins, this wine emphasizes how cool fermentation, early pressing and lees stirring add to depth on the palate. Aged for 20 months in tight-grain French oak, this wine will cellar beautifully for the next 10-15 years.
