Description
This wine is made from the oldest part of our vineyard. Planted in 1991, the soil is rocky and volcanic. The elevation is 1100 feet above the Napa Valley and faces northwest, giving the vineyard excellent exposure to sun and afternoon breezes. Made by Bob Egelhoff, the wine was aged for 24 months in French oak and gives a rich, deep magenta color with alluring aromas of black cherry, caramel and sweet toasty oak.
