Description
Selected from our estate vineyards south of Yountville, all five of the classic Bordeaux varietals are used in our small-lot reserve wines. Glen Newlan, our winemaker, has chosen the best barrels of each and then crafted a special blend for this offering. The blend is 48 percent Cabernet Franc, 32 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 10 percent Merlot, 5 percent Malbec and 5 percent Petit Verdot. The culmination of this work is a wine full of ripe dark fruit that is aggressive on the palate and smooth on the finish.
