Description

St. Clement is very excited to have cultivated a grower-producer relationship with the historic Paras Vineyards. This barrel offering is the first time St. Clement has made a single-vineyard wine from this property. Paras Vineyard is a majestic mountain vineyard in the Mount Veeder AVA owned by James Paras. At approximately 21 acres, this stunning, steeply terraced vineyard sits at 2,000 feet in elevation. The soils are mostly bale loam and the site features low-vigor vines that produce small yields of intensely concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon. Planted to various clones of Cabernet Sauvignon including Clone 4, 7, 15, 169, 337, and 338, this deeply concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon is a great representation of what Mt. Veeder has to offer.
