Description
The story begins with a small rock-lined creek that runs down the middle of the Flora Springs estate. This inconspicuous creek, home to annual paper boat races, empty fishing baskets and bamboo forts, also serves as the dividing line between two prestigious appellations – Rutherford and St. Helena. On the sides of its banks grow two of our most sacred Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, which in turn, produce our most magnificent single-vineyard wines – the Rutherford Hillside Reserve and the St. Helena Rennie Reserve. For the 2009 Premiere Napa Valley we have taken equal parts of each Cabernet to create a most divine wine, our St. Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon.
