This rare expression of Napa Valley winemaking is one of only 60 bottles that will ever be made. Think of it as a bit of Napa Valley history in your cellar and celebrated in a glass with friends and family.
Kenefick Ranch’s vineyard sits on the east side of the Calistoga nested appellation. Almost completely of volcanic origin, these soils are ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon. This area has the most extreme diurnal swing in Napa Valley, providing highly balanced fruit and the 2014 harvest provided the opportunity to pick at perfect ripeness. On the palate, this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 100% new French oak displays warm notes of oak and fresh berries that lead into a beautiful finish with balanced tannins. This gracious Cabernet Sauvignon should continue to age gracefully for another 10 years, but it is awfully good now.
- Wine is unfiltered
- Single vineyard wine
- Sustainably produced
