Coup de Foudre, something unforgettable-"love at first sight"-be it food, wine or someone incredible. The 2013 Lighting Bolt Blend is a one of a kind wine that will be engrained on your palate. Winemaker, Kent Jarman, carefully selected the top lots of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from our best vineyard blocks in Calistoga to create an elegant and yet bold wine.

I was born in southern Louisiana, where my grandfather owned a wine distribution company. The culinary aspects of the area, and the fine wines introduced by my grandfather inspired me to pursue a winemaking career.

Education: I graduated from U.C. Davis with a Viticulture and Enology degree and interned at J. Wine Company and Spring Mountain Vineyards. I then worked at Duckhorn Wine Company for five years.

Winemaking Philosophy:
For the past 20 years, we have had the great fortune and honor to work with wine, savor it and witness its impact on consumers as they navigate the wonders of wine and the sheer pleasure that it brings.
