Description
From the heart of the Stags Leap District—directly below the steep, rocky palisades—come some of the best grapes in the world. On this eastern side of the Valley lies Steltzner Vineyards, established in 1965 by Richard Steltzner, a vineyard pioneer here in the valley. Today, Richard works side by side with his children and winemaker, Tim Dolven, and all are focused on bringing you world-class wines from vine to table. We blended Cabernet Sauvignon from our oldest blocks of our Estate here in the Stags Leap District to create a wine that is expressive of the land we are fortunate stewards of. These blocks are the cornerstone of our Reserve Cabernet program named in honor of our founder, Richard M Steltzner.
