Description
Celebrating 30 years of making wine on the mountain, and the first appearance at Premiere, winemaker Stephan Carrier is pleased to present The Puzzle 2005 Missing Piece. The rugged 120-acre Spring Mountain estate, one of the pioneering Spring Mountain ranches, is sectioned into parcels at elevations ranging from 500 to 1,600 feet above sea level. The soils are remarkably diverse, and each parcel is planted to clonal varietals that thrive in the different soil types. The wine for Premiere is from a small Cabernet Sauvignon block selected by the winemaker for its remarkable structure and balance.
