Description
This wine includes the best lots of Cabernet from our two mountain vineyards. Howell Mountain is at 1,800 feet in the western mountains. It has deep red volcanic soil that is high in minerals but low in nutrients, yielding its dark red spicy fruit. Lone Canyon is at 1,100 feet in the eastern mountains. Its soils are chalky and minerally with very steep slopes resulting in extremely small berries and very intense flavors. They represent the best of these two estate, hillside wines. The best of Two Mountains.
