25% Lewelling Vineyard, St. Helena
This lush 2008 blend is our debut offering for PNV, a "Twist" on our traditional 50/50 bottling of these two spectacular vineyards. This one has muscle, but approaches with the smooth touch of a velvet glove. Layers of brooding dark plum and sexy black cherry give way to silky blackstrap molasses and a lingering black licorice finish. We spun the blending wheel, and discovered magnificence!

Amy's love affair with Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon started in the late 1980s when she began her winemaking career at Joseph Phelps Vineyards.It was there that she cut her teeth on the king of grapes and became intimate with some of Napa Valley's finest sites. In 2000 Amy decided it was time to fashion her own wine from vineyards that offered superior aromatics, flavors, textures and character.
