To create this special Premiere Napa Valley offering, winemaker Russell Bevan chose from his three favorite barrels of 2015 single-block, old-vine Hayne Vineyard Zinfandel. Blended solely from grapes harvested just before dawn, from the northwest block of Chase Cellars’ 112-year-old, dry-farmed, head-trained vines, this is a rare and decadent Napa Valley red wine that was hand-picked, hand-sorted and fermented in new French oak. The combination of Russell’s style of balanced, sophisticated hedonism, combines with the bright, earth and spice-driven influences of the Hayne Vineyard to create an exceptional wine that any oenophile will be smitten to add to their collection.
