Description

The 2014 vintage produced wines of great purity and transparency. Your Premiere Napa Valley wine was selected from a single parcel, A5W, at Larkmead Vineyards. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was grown on Clone 337, with 16-year-old vines planted in loamy soil, surrounded by 30 ares of gravel. The fruit essence of the vintage is showcased in this parcel, while also highlighting the structure of the vineyard. This is a wine with a tremendous amount of depth and balance that was aged in 100% French oak.

Dan Petroski
Winemaker, Larkmead Vineyards
Winemaker Dan Petroski came to Northern California from New York via Italy where he spent a year living and working with the family that owns the Sicilian winery Valle dell'Acate. Dan has been with Larkmead since 2006 and is responsible for the wine making at Larkmead. His old-world sensibility is a key component of the grace and elegance of Larkmead wines.
