Description
What makes this bottling so special that we decided to bottle it on its own? It is the TLC it receives from the estate's proprietor, Tony Truchard. This block is located above the caves, next to their home, and is the first block he sees each morning and the last block he views from his bedroom window before he goes to sleep. All of our vineyards are meticulously cared for, but this being first in mind gets a little extra love, which is shown in the fruits of our labor and in the wine.

Sal De Ianni
Winemaker, Truchard Vineyards
Sal was the enologist for Cuvaison Winery from 1995-1997, then worked as harvest winemaker in 1997 for Margaret River Vineyards in Australia. From 1998 onward, he has served as winemaker for Truchard Vineyards.
