Description
Since 1900, Beaulieu Vineyard has crafted benchmark Cabernet Sauvignons, including Napa Valley’s seminal Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Becoming famous for the wines crafted by “The Maestro” winemaker André Tchelistcheff, Beaulieu’s legacy is carried on now through his fifth predecessor, winemaker Trevor Durling. Our 2018 Premiere Napa Valley Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted by Trevor Durling as a tribute to André Tchelistcheff. It is a barrel selection from the most expressive vineyard blocks from historic BV Ranch No. 1 and No. 2 and undergoes an in-barrel fermentation in new French oak. This wine exhibits immense concentration and structure while retaining simplicity and grace, and of course the trademark Rutherford Dust profile.

Winemaker, Beaulieu Vineyard
Beaulieu Vineyard winemaker Trevor Durling presides as only the fifth winemaker in the winery's 125-year history to craft the winery's famed Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. With a love of agriculture, science and cuisine, Trevor pursued his studies at the University of California Davis in the Viticulture and Enology program. As winemaker at Beaulieu Vineyard, Trevor incorporates his passion for creating fine wines, while preserving the heritage and legacy of Beaulieu Vineyard.
