Description
Hillside and valley floor become one as Thomas Rivers Brown, a winemaker who has become a symbol of wine country artistry, takes on the obsessiveness of a creative scientist to capture the finest qualities of two marvelous vineyards that present two diverse terroir perspectives.
These very-limited-production wineries that share Thomas’ expertise have joined forces for the first time to produce a Cabernet Sauvignon blended from their respective estates. Casa Piena, owned by Gail and Carmen Policy, is located on the valley floor in Yountville, and Jones Family Vineyards, owned by Rick Jones and his daughters Stephanie and Heather, is located on a steep hillside in the Calistoga area. The blend combines the seductive qualities of each of these two unique properties as only Thomas could envision and produce.
