Description
Our one-of-a-kind lot hails from the Stags Leap District with fruit coming from the Steltzner vineyard on the Silverado Trail. To create our Premiere Napa Valley lot, we harvested a mere half-ton from the best spot on this 15-year-old, dry-farmed vineyard at a perfect 28 brix on October 20, three days before rain hit in Napa Valley. The berries were then individually hand sorted before the wine was barrel fermented in 100% new French oak.
These five cases stand alone, providing a big, juicy, jammy, rich wine, with lots of layers of fruit.

In 1993, Oscar Renteria was passed the torch and assumed proprietorship of Renteria Vineyard Management, now the third-largest vineyard management company in the North Bay area. Managing prime vineyard land, and continually seeking to increase the quality of these geographically diverse vineyards is the goal. He has implemented new approaches in vineyard technology. While always hands-on and close to the fields, Oscar believes, ???that the infusion of technology is a benefit for the future.??? By combining practical, generational field knowledge with innovative trials and experimentations, the Renteria family has found the balance to produce the finest grapes possible.
Renteria Wines, LLC produced its first wines in 1997, and produces about 2,000 cases annually. Producing an award-winning wine doesn???t happen overnight. But with vision, the integration of family, innovation and hard work anything is possible.
