Description
VinRoc is produced from singularly
harvested one-ton lots from individual
blocks within our vineyard on Atlas Peak.
Each lot is fermented and aged separately.
Each lot is unique in character. Koko’s Block
is an individual lot from a block that is
consistently outstanding in reflecting the
earthy mineral and dark fruit characteristics
of our vineyard. Only two barrels are
produced from this block, which is named
for our chocolate Labrador Retriever, Koko.

My wife and I built VinRoc from scratch. We learned and studied as we were planning and developing the vineyard and later building our winery. We soon found that Atlas Peak doesn't fit the textbook examples. The rugged rocky hillside that is the site of our Cabernet Vineyard required a different approach than the valley floor. My goal in making VinRoc is to produce a wine that truly reflects the unique qualities of our vineyard.
