Description
Lang & Reed is dedicated to making Cabernet Franc but, during the harvest of 1997, we decided to craft a single barrel of Shiraz (Australian clone) expressly for the Napa Valley Premiere Barrel Auction. The grapes hail from the Borken Hill Vineyard, owned by Gary and Kim Pigeon, which is located at the alluvial spill-out of Glass Mountain. An intriguing expression of this very unique variety.
