Description
Here's the spice in our Cain Five. The Petit Verdot grown at Cain is redolent of berry and violet, more floral-spicy than fruity. With small berries and low yields, Petit Verdot ripens later and tends to have high acidity and a firm structure. The 1998 Cain Petit Verdot is sweet but tannic, green but spicy.
