Description
Winemaster Ed Sbragia returns to Beringer’s roots to blend 20 cases of an original 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon from two "original" vineyards: Chabot Vineyard, the obsidian-laden property at the base of Glass Mountain that started Beringer’s Private Reserve Cabernet program 25 years ago, and St. Helena Home Vineyard, the heart of the estate that founding visionaries Jacob and Frederick Beringer purchased over 125 years ago. The wine will be ready for release in 2006.
